Thats where most of your problems arise. I have resorted to using another OLD computer with windows XP home edition to avoid the pain of using the other computer.Some may actually think I am exaggerating, but I promise It'll work fine for a few minutes to hours after I boot up, then suddenly at random it just won't go away.I got used to having a similar issue with XP... I went to the Right hand task bar and clicked on the up arrow (show hidden icons) then went to customize and changed everthing But the Volume to only shownotification . navigate here I see on other forums that its still happening in Vista.
