I did manage to get rid of a number of problems, including a folder labeled ac8zt2, which, based on my research (though I could be wrong), is the aforementioned varient of Temporarily disable your anti-virus, script blocking and any anti-malware real-time protection before performing a scan. Ad-hock is right, use Trojan Hunter Trial instead: It runs on Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000 and XP.
